01/09/08 - Train Crash

*Alex sits up, after being tossed to the ground. He asks, "Emma...Elli...are you both alright?" Alex begins to pick up their luggage and things from the ground. "That was quite a sudden halt of the train. We can't be there yet." He takes out his wand, and looks around.

Sergei tipped to the left, and caught the wall to keep himself from falling. "What the hell's going on?!" He shouted. The train jumped again and he almost lost his balance. Father didn't warn me about anything like this...What's going on...?! he thought.

"No..we still have half a train ride to go.."
Elli said, steppin ginto the hall as soon as the train was on all wheels again
come on come on!

The train was rocked again as something collided with it. Elli stumbled in the small hall, making her way to the very back where there were bars around the door

Sergei yanked his wand out of his pocket, and looked around. He decided to try to get to the back of the train. He held his wand in front of him as he pushed through the crowded aisle. He knocked several students over, but he didn't care.

*Alex followed Elli, and saw the bars on the door. "Something must have really had force to knock us off the tracks," he said in a softer voice.

*He was asleep when the train came to the sudden stop. He fell of his sit onto the floor. he lifted himself up slowly. His head hurt as it made a contact with the floor. He felt like his lower lip was bleeding. He got a hold of his wand and with great afford he opened his compartment door. Somewhere down the corridor a bunch of first year girls were screaming. He put his wand hand on his head trying to bring himself out of the fog. The impact was great, it almost knocked him out. He turned to the first student he saw, "What in the name of Slytherin is going on here?"

Elli looked out the window and smiled. THe smile dissapears instantly and the train was pushed harder than before. Everyone out in the hall was thrown to their butts, Elli included. The train teetered on its left wheels..but crashed back to all wheels
Elli growled internally with frusteration. She put her hand on the handle of the door

*Alex fell to the floor as well. He then got up, and helped Emma up. "That felt like a monster/creature of some kind."

*As no answer followed he pushed the boy out of his way moving to the front of the train. Someone would have answers over there...*

Sergei reached the back of the train, and saw Elli and some other guy he didn't know standing in front of the door. "Open it!" He said. "Or move and let me open it!"

*he suddenly remembered another girl that followed him* Hey, you, Heather or whatever, come with me....

Emma screamed as she was thrown down a second time. Her head made contact with the sharp edge of the seat. Her forehead began to bleed. Emma didnt notice. She got up and ran out of her compartment and to Alex. She gripped him arm. They were going to die.. Oh my god... they were going to die... Tears of fear filled her eyes as the train shook again.

Heather looked back at Malfoy, "Sure, okay... And yes, my name is Heather, you know my brother." She walked, keeping up with him.
"What's happening?" she asked, looking out of the windows and stumbling in the process, thinking that he probably didn't know either.

katie got up off the floor rubbing her head {ow} she thought {what the hell is going on}, she got out of the compartment and moved to the back of the train..

Elli didnt move from the door.
"Its stuck, try the front"
she yelled over the noise of scarmed students.
And then what she had been waiting for happened.

The train was tipped over and at the last second, Elli ripped open the already unlocked and half open door. She jumped from the tumbling train , her hands open. They grasped something and she smiled.

From inside the train.
Everyone was thrown everywhere and then there was a loud screech. the open door broke off and the air seemed to be sucked out of the train..but it was replaced..with fire.
The loud screech echoed out into the train with a stream of fire that licked its way throughout the train. Those who where fast enough to block the fire would see..see something no one would have expected

Sergei jumped down from the train, right behind Elli. He hit the ground hard, and lost his breath. And then the train exploded(?).

*Alex looked back, and saw Emma holding his arm. He took her hand in his, and saw her bleeding forehead. He spoke a charm, and healed her forehead. "I'm sure we'll make it, Em," said Alex with a weak smile. He wasn't going to let go of her hand...especially since the culprit hasn't been found yet, that did this.

*Seeing the fire approaching him, he dropped to the ground bringing Emma with him. He noticed something in the direction of the flames, for a split-second.

"oh shit" katie said seeing the fire, she quikely took her wand out, and pointed it at the flames as a stream of water left it, seeing two people on the floor she started putting out the water around them "you ok?"

From inside the train:

As the fire stuck to the interior of the train a large scalily(sp?) face blocked the open door, blowing fire inside every now and then

from outside:
Two large creatures blew fire from their mouths onto the outside of the train. The heat of it was more intense than regular fire..like magma...which is what dripped like droop from the flying creatures(aka dragons) mouths.

Elli fell to the ground from what she was holding. The drop was farther than she thought and she landed completely wrong on her foot
"Ow! bloody hell!"
she yelled.
She could hear the screams inside the train as students not fast enough to defend burned. It was terrible..

*Looking up, Alex says, "yea. I believe we are alright." He gently helps Emma up, and he is still holding Emma's hand. "My name is Alex. This is Emma."

"katie" she nodding "i dont know much about trains, but when its on fire ithink the smartest thing to do is get the hell off!" she said looking around

Sergei picked himself up off the ground, and brushed off his pants. "Fucking brand new jeans..." He muttered. He picked up his wand, and shined it around. He saw another student on the ground near him, but didn't bother checking if they were hurt. He turned around, and saw the huge crowd of students trying to fit through the door.

"Due to the velocity of the flames, I didn't think there was enough time to jump off. Let's go though," said Alex. "Are you alright, Em?"

The tears began to stream down emmas face as the fire past. Alex pulled her down and Emma hugged him tightly and nervously. After she got up she began to cry softly trying to wipe the fresh tears away. "Not again... oh god..." She held Alex's hand tightly. She was scared. Really scared.
